Thursday morning bright and early, owners of Peridot Fine Jewelry, husband and wife team Dawn and Chuck Hendricks, jet set to the city of glitter for the june jewelry buys at the Couture show. Anyone who's anyone in the jewelry world is there, donning their subtle designs by day and bringing out the bling at night.

We have spoken to Dawn several times in the last few days about what she is seeing and her responses are quite exciting. "Big, big big!" She laughs, "Big rings, big earrings, beautiful pieces that make a statement. Oxidized metal is everywhere and I'm loving it. I found these oxidized silver bangles accented with gold and diamond that are just stunning, we may need to get them." She also reports that many designers are working with flat slices of stones, often sapphires or diamonds, and then surrounding the shape in diamonds. "It's breathtaking," explains Dawn.
