So we're all loving Asha by ADM's bold earrings and easy bangles for July and are wondering -- what's the story? Who is this fresh new designer and where does her inspiration come from? So, we asked! Take a peek at our exclusive interview with the deisgner of ASHA by ADM designer, Ashley Dodgen-McCormick...

Q: When did you know you wanted to be a designer?

I always knew I wanted to be an entrepreneur. And I've always loved jewelry so its a perfect match!

Q: Your trips around the world have been such an inspiration for your jewelry. How do you translate what you see on a trip into a piece of wearable jewelry?

Traveling the world is one of my biggest passions. Whether I'm at a flea market in Brazil or admiring the majestic architecture of Edinburgh, there is always inspiration to be found. Last month on a trip to London I was struck by a beautiful trellis gate in Mayfair and have appropriated the unique motifs in my next collection.

Q: Where are some of your favorite spots around the globe?

I adore the serenity and turquoise waters of Mustique. I was just married there so it is very special to me. I'm also very much looking forward to an upcoming trip to Marrakech.

Q: As a young designer you have already gotten so much press and celebrity attention. What has been the most exciting exposure you’ve had?

Being invited by In Style Magazine to accessorize celebrities for the Golden Globes in LA was truly exciting.

Q: How should women feel when they try on one of your pieces?

Transformed! There is nothing like a piece of bold jewelry to inspire confidence and make a woman feel beautiful.

Q: What is your favorite stone?

Moonstone.

Q: What is your favorite thing about summer?

Summer dresses, hydrangeas, and being on the water.

Q: What is your favorite piece of your summer collection?

Tamsin earrings because they are elegant and ethereal.

Q: What can we look forward to about your fall line?

On a trip to Paris last fall I found a vintage brooch and its unique and unusual combination of amethyst, peridot, and carnelian inspired the new fall pieces.
