Just in time for Memorial Day Weekend, author Colleen Mullaney joined us for a book signing party for her latest book, The Stylish Girl's Guide to Fabulous Cocktails, along with the team from Greenwich's new lifestyle magazine, Serendipity.

While sipping on Colleen's drinks of the night Love Hangover (a yummy melange of champagne and pineapple juice) and Ruby Slippers (vodka, lime and pomegranate juice), guests purchased the latest spring designs at Peridot. And, of course, we passed around Charlotte's $46,000 diamond bow ring from Sex and the City 2.
Amidst the fragrant peony centerpieces, spicy hors d'oeuvres and Tory Burch clad ladies, Mullaney made a lovely toast about the inspiration behind her book. She spoke of finding the time to celebrate life's little blessings with your girlfriends, garnishing the night with jewelry, fresh flowers and music (which Mullaney calls the "ultimate accessory").

Had such a fabulous time at the book signing party. Please have more events, peridot! I've gotten so many compliments on the topaz earrings I bought that night and am sending in all of my girlfriends. great!
